WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Whilst things aesthetically have changed we, the people are West Ham United. We fight till the very end and we can stay up. It is going to be extremely close but I for one want this club to do well and to do so we have to stay in the premier league.

I think the blame for our current situation is definitely the owners. The reason we are in this position isn’t solely down to them but what is their fault and their biggest mistake was not sacking Bilic in the summer. The players have had too much of his poor coaching drummed into them and the poor appointment of Moyes isn’t the guy to get them out of that mentality.

They’ve all got zero confidence and I hate to say it but Allardyce was probably the only guy who I can confidently say would of kept us up as he would of at least made us hard to beat.

0 points from our next 3 games and all we can hope for is that the owners do spend in January and we pick enough points up to ensure there are 3 teams who are somehow worse than us and pick up less.

I feel they have no choice but to spend in January as they are faced with the harsh reality that if they don’t, we are finished.

As I said, we are West Ham United and as fans we will be there fighting till the very end until there is no chance, but until then, as hard as it seems right now let’s not give up and show the fight until the seasons end.

After the Man City game I felt yep he will sort it out, Where as the Everton game before was scary and I thought we are going down cos the players are terrible, did not even blame Moyes.
Now I have positivity and think we will be OK.

This is the worst total we've ever had at this stage of a premier league season, and the manager has taken 1 point in 4 games, and only won 2 of his last 30 ish games.

Yep, plenty to be proud of.

Well I think quite a lot of us felt rather proud today !!!!!!

A performance today that matched the fans efforts.

Well done to all those that travelled, especially with the difficulties we had with the trains.

The bit that you are not getting is that the real fans that the club has relied upon in previous relegations have been by policy actively and energetically disenfranchised

In simple terms, Cuntmeister Brady did not want us and has made it clear by her gentrification plans

Well let's see how many of her preferred new fans tip up for her popcorn feast at the iconic stadium shall we?

As it goes many of those that she will rely upon will have fucked off

As indeed she will have, can't have such a clusterfuck on her CV can she the Arsenal loving, utter CUNT

As for the Bros Dave's - the club ruining puppet masters can watch their money burn upon the bonfire of their vanities

Oh and for the avoidance of doubt - we are down!

Laughable thread. We have no hope of staying up, absolutely none. May as well accept it now and look forward to some interesting swats and a parachute payment next year. And maybe a chance to actually compete on a regular basis

Totally agree. FWIW, we are not adrift in any way YET. BUT we do need a miracle December. And I believe in miracles.

Burke and Cullen are back in January.
Burke is a good centre back not sure what has gone wrong with Cullen but i would blood the pair of them.
Rather them then a couple of mercenaries who are not up for the fight.

I don't get the thread.

Fans are fans, we follow WHUFC. We can't affect too much of the shambles on the pitch - we are already supporting the club and ...... it's a shambles on the pitch.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
By the end of the season our goal difference will be probably much worse than a rival on a similar points total. So we really need a total of say 40 to be safe.

Not looking likely is it?

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Sadly...
Can't see us getting 38 points...never mind 40 for safety...

Blame The Owners...and to some extent Bilic...

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
I have gone through our remaining fixtures and have tried to be unbiased on our prospects. I believe we can get another 28 points from the remainder of the season that gives us 38 points in total will it be enough?

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Let Moyes take the beatings in the next 3 games then give Di Canio the job till the end of the season. Will at least feel a bit more like West Ham.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Seen it all before and we are down chaps. Couple of points from me. Moyes is not to blame, he was offered the job and took it but has inherited a squad who fear playing. What I would say disappointed me last night were two things. We never seem to have the balls to go for it when the time is right. Everton came into the game under huge pressure and started nervously with the crowd anxious. Christ, if anyone should know how that feels it is us. So, we should have gone for the jugular and started two up front and gave it a go. I was disappointed to see Ayew isolated. The only player who can play up front on his own is Carroll and even he doesn't make much inroads at that. The second and more worrying was that we put effort in against Leicester so I expected to see us build on that or at least replicate it but it was lacking. Looking at our run of games, we will be cut adrift of 17th very quickly with no quality wanting to come in January. Their is only really one inevitable outcome in all this and it will be interesting to see how our board take us forward from that mess. I hate to say it by I gave up on us after last night and I have never done that. The only positive I can think of is that when we went down with Carrick, Joe Cole, Kanoute, Di Canio, Defoe, Sinclair etc etc I was gutted when the best players left. With this squad, at the moment, I would not care who left. Pretty sad statement that.
